USA // Reopening of borders to fully vaccinated travelers

This Monday, November 8, 2021, the United States reopen land and air borders to all travelers vaccinated against Covid-19.

.

This marks the end of 18 months of restrictions, after the Spring 2020 Proclamations that closed borders to travelers from the Schengen Area, the United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland, but also from China, Iran, Brazil, India and South Africa. Only travelers eligible for a NIE (National Interest Exception) could claim entry to American soil since the start of the pandemic, significantly impacting the possibilities of short-term and long-term professional mobility.

.

Professional mobility projects from Europe to the USA will therefore be able to restart and materialize, while the consulates resume their pre-pandemic level of activity and are again authorized to issue entry visas to all travelers.
