UK // Post-Brexit: overview of the current situation

On 1st January 2021, the Brexit transition period ended. To get prepared, the UK authorities had launched a new immigration system, and is bringing some adjustments to it where experience shows the need. New visa routes are on the agenda to bring more options to foreigners seeking to settle in the UK. At the same time, EU nationals need to apply for pre-settled status (-5 years in the UK before 2021) and settled status (+5 years) before 30 June 2021.
